Yndrasta and the Knight Vexillor aren’t in my list but Yndrasta is a badass model and I might as well do the other one so all of my Stormcast are painted.

I really thought I was going to be done with these guys this weekend, but it wasn’t meant to be. Very close, though!

I’m telling myself the subsequent batches will go faster: heroes (this batch) and banners (last batch) added a lot of extra work and it should be mostly just armor (and some capes) from here out.

I feel like I’ve had a pretty significant level-up over the last few months: brighter colors, broader contrast ranges, more experiments with texturing.

Is that the first batch is (finally!) done, on to the next one.

Finally; man is it nice to have finally worked through the dumb WP issues keeping me from posting from my phone.

Circumstances have kept cropping up to keep me from making progress on these guys the way I’d like but I’m finally starting to get close to wrapping things up on them.

Weird impulse to paint up a Stormcast. Really happy with it: photographing it washes it out a bit.
